"Ah, hello? H-Hello hello? Well, if you're hearing this, chances are you've made a very poor career choice. Sorry, but... hey, that doesn't mean you're necessarily done for. I-I'm sure you've heard the stories of how the animatronics here can get a bit... violent during nightly hours, but hey, listen, I-I'm gonna let you in on a little something. One of the night guards before you, uh, he found out that... it's actually possible to interact with the animatronics. Now, I know that seems a bit far-fetched, but hey, nothing around this place ever made sense since the golden... er, nevermind, I'll fill you in on that s-some other time. So just remember this, if you ever get caught by one of the animatronics, um, try interacting with them, it could save your life, I-I know it saved mine that one time... S-So you know the drill, I think Mike told me he filled you in on the basics about power conservation and door usage? Don't worry, I'll be guiding you throughout the week. Hell, if you can manage to survive five nights here... you just might be something special. Alright, goodnight, and... welcome to the family. Best of luck, newbie."
[[Well, shit.]]You place the phone back on the stand, not expecting that kind of message on the first day of your new job. Slumping back in your office chair, you glance at the camera feed on your tablet. You were pretty familiar with the controls, considering you were lucky enough to have one of the previous guards teach you what to do. Flicking to the camera pointing to the stage, you get a good look at the animatronics. Bonnie. Freddy. Chica. Flicking to pirate's cove, you see the fourth and final hiding behind its curtain. Foxy. These robots had to have been so revolutionary at the time, and now they show signs of interaction? You put your tablet down, conserving power, wondering what they could possibly be thinking of if they truly were intelligent.
---
Freddy sighed, glancing at the clock. 1AM. He stretched his mechanical arms, loosening his servos "Well, that idiot's daily message is probably over by now."
Bonnie perked up "Oh, oh, it's Monday again! Does that mean we have a new guard to kill this week?"
The animatronic bear cast a bored glance "Yeah, yeah, you know what to do, Bon." He watched as the purple bunny hopped off stage and skipped through the dining area. Bonnie always got first dibs on the night shift, and Freddy was jealous. He almost never got to even leave the stage anymore- most guards never lasted until their third night. Every day and every night was the same routine for the crew, and ever since Mike got moved to the day shift, life around the pizza parlor became horribly boring. It seemed none of the guards brought any interesting times anymore. Bonnie was the only one who seemed to still be happy with what their new lives. Foxy rarely left the cove, Chica stopped eating as much, Freddy never had anything to do, and no matter what Bonnie tried he just couldn't seem to cheer his friends up.
"I'm willing to bet this one's no different from the rest" He mummered.
---
You begin rapidly glancing through the camera feed, trying to find the missing animatronic. As you hear footsteps approaching the hall to your left, you:
[[Press the light button]]
[[Press the door button]]
[[Don't do anything]]Your hand reaches for the light button, half expecting your worse nightmare to be there.
Well, it's not your worst nightmare, but it's still pretty terrifying. What is it? Come on, why bother leave you to guess, you probably know it's Bonnie. As the button illuminates the area just outside of your door, you catch a good look at your foe. The guard before you warned you that the purple animatronic would probably be the first one that you would encounter. He wasn't lying, that's for sure.
Just your luck, the bright light stuns the robot bunny momentarily, giving you just enough time to slam the door button, separating yourself from certain death. You're safe for now, and you didn't even scream! Feeling proud of yourself, you decide what you should do now
[[Look at him through the window]]
[[Sit back and wait for him to leave]]
[[Open the door even though he's right there]]Your hand immediately goes to the door button, screw the lights! The large door closes, separating you and whatever the heck was out there. You sit back and relax. Whatever's out there will leave eventually.
You were proud of yourself, you didn't even scream! You'd be fine all week, as long as you keep this cool head of yours. Still, you were somewhat curious as to whether or not it was one of the animatronics, or just the other guards playing a very well planned prank on you. You decide to:
[[Look at him through the window]]
[[Sit back and wait for him to leave]]Well, that wasn't your best idea. You sit in your chair quietly as you hear the footsteps grow louder, but then suddenly stop.
You lean back, figuring whatever was there decided to leave. Just as you were about to doze off for a few minutes, you were greeted by a deafening screeching sound in your ears followed by something forcefully tugging on the back of your shirt. Despite your struggling and screaming, you were dragged down the hall and into the back room. The empty Freddy costume awaited you, crossbeams and wires included.
You felt a pair of mechanical hands begin stuffing your body into the costume, the crossbeams piercing your sides and the wires horribly electrocuting you. You sat there, limp as you lost feeling of your body from the neck down. Your head stuck out of the neck socket, your face bloody and you barely alive. You half-consciously look up to see your murderer. The purple animatronic, Bonnie, holding the final piece of your costume in his cold, metal hands.
//'So, they really are alive after all...'//
Was you last thought as Bonnie shoved the Freddy head piece onto your head, your world going dark.
---
"Hello? Hello hello? W-Well, uh, I heard you got murdered already. T-That's really sad, actually. Fritz Smith could've done better... O-Oh well, onto the next guy..."
GAME OVER
Restart? [[Intro]]Ignoring your inner voice screaming at you to get the heck out of Dodge, you press the light button and peer through your office window.
You couldn't see his face, but by the silhouette cast, you could tell what you were looking at. The large figure with two long ears sticking up, Bonnie, Freddy Fazbear's lead guitarist. At least, that's what you remembered from going there as a child. Ah, yes, back when the characters of your favorite pizza parlor weren't trying to kill you. Good times.
You blankly stared at the silhouette, and it seemed to be staring at you as well. This continued for a few minutes, the both of you waiting for either of you to do, well, anything.
[[This is going nowhere, turn off the light]]
[[He's bound to do something eventually, just keep staring]]No, you're not taking any chances looking death in the face!
You sit back in your office chair, and casually pull up some YouTube on your phone. You press play, laughing as your favorite YouTuber makes a fool of himself/herself for the 50th time.
After about 5 minutes or so, you hear footsteps outside of the door, but this time them getting quieter. Hesitantly, you bring yourself to pushing the light button. You see nothing outside of your door, but then again, you're not very familiar with using lights and doors with their potential blind spots.
You finally reach a decision. You:
[[Open the door and save power]]
[[Play it safe and keep the door closed]]This was your worst idea yet.
Let's face it, you only clicked this to see what the outcome would be.
Well nice going, asshole. Now you're dead.
The worst part is that you knew you would die by choosing this option.
---
"Hello? Hello hello? Well, I heard about how you died. I'm really hoping that they were joking. If they weren't, well, you've gotta be the dumbest guard we've ever had."

After about 5 minutes or so, you hear footsteps outside of the door, but this time them getting quieter. You reach for the light button again, and the light fills the hallway, Bonnie's silhouette nowhere to be seen.
[[Open the door and save power]]
[[Play it safe and keep the door closed]]Nothing. You're still standing there, and nothing's happening.
Not to mention you're wasting power.
[[This is going nowhere, turn off the light]]If there's anything you've learned in your training, it's that most guards die on the first night due to losing power. Bonnie's gone, you shouldn't be wasting more power than you already are.
You pull up your tablet again, and flip to the show stage camera feed. To your surprise, it actually looks like the three animatronics are talking to each other. That's odd. Unfortunately, the camera feed doesn't have audio, and you they're too far for you to hear from your office.
You stare at the video for a few minutes, but then give up. You can't read lips. Nice try, though.
[[You wonder what the heck they could possibly be talking about]]<silently>

Hey, for all you know, that asshole can be hiding anywhere.
You open your tablet and see the bunny animatronic walking down the hall, towards the dining room area. So he may not be right outside of your door, but he could turn around at any moment if he wanted to. It's a small pizzeria, it wouldn't take long to get back to your office. You're not letting your guard down yet.

[[You wonder what the heck they could possibly be talking about]]Um, Hello hello~? Hey, look at you, not dying stupid deaths!
Well, sadly, this is my first Twine story, so I'm still working out basic coding and what not, so unfortunately, consider this the end of your demo... FOR NOW ;P
I'll try to update as frequently as I can, so stop by every week or so!
I know the passages seem to get a bit repetitive towards the end here, but that's because this passage is going to be a pretty large plot point, so I need to make sure every reader has access to it~
So until the next update comes out, go back and explore some other endings/possibilities, open up to the possibilities!
Love you all for your support thus far!
